It is easier to travel nowadays. Some years ago we had to go to a travel agency to book a trip. Now we can use the Internet to book tickets and accommodation at good prices. Besides, travelling by modern means of transport saves a lot of time as it took much time to cover long distances centuries ago.

Turkey and the Crimea are the most favourite tourist destinations. People enjoy swimming, sunbathing, water skiing or windsurfing.

When tourists travel, they usually enjoy beautiful views and take pictures. On the way they read magazines, listen to music, do crosswords or talk. It’s sometimes a good chance to meet interesting people and make new friends.

My family usually travels to the seaside every summer. We go swimming and sunbathing on the beach all day long. In winter we often go to the countryside to spend time in the open air. I like going skiing and skating.

There are a lot of interesting places worth seeing in this country. I’d recommend to visit the Crimea and to swim in the Black sea. You can go climbing in the Caucasus or the Ural mountains. It’s a good idea to travel to Siberia and see the Baikal, the deepest lake in the world. There are a lot of tourist attractions in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other Russian cities.

There are some beautiful and picturesque places in Samara region. Tourists can see the Zhiguli mountains and Samarskaya Luka, the most wonderful place on the river Volga. You can also visit a space museum in Samara or you can go to Togliatti, the centre of automobile industry in our country.
